Sheraton Park Lane Hotel

Throughly enjoyed this visit. Have been many times to London on business but this time we walked everywhere and surprised ourselves with the area's we covered. Would do it again

We stayed at the Park Hotel in Mayfair-I would say a fading gem-(cracked sink, slightly shabby in places) but also rather endearing for that. Amazing choice at breakfast served by lovely staff. Generally a good, old fashioned hotel in a superb location.

Superb staff excellent service. Enjoyed afternonn tea with live harpist playing in background. Main hotel entrance is in a back street and using other entrance off Picadilly had to walk through people enjoying meals etc to reach rooms and reception

Whilst the hotel customer areas were very good the bedrooms/bathrooms were dated and an air conditioning unit outside our bedroom window meant very little sleep.

The hotel was lovely and the breakfast outstanding, served in the room. We had to have our room changed as initially i had booked a twin room but we were given a double. The alternative room was provided with little fuss. Im glad we booked through superbreak as the 'deal' made our stay a lovely treat. Would recommend this hotel.

The Park Lane Hotel is a delightful change from the more run of the mill hotels you often find, especially amongst the big chains. Whilst the room was in need of a sprucing up, the old fashioned features are wonderful and the public rooms, particularly the palm court, are outstanding. Staff were always polite and attentive. Very enjoyable stay. Great location.

I was down on business but managed to fit in a couple of venues, The Jewel in Glasshouse Street off Piccadilly Circus and The View nightclub, close by. Both excellent.Shopping in Old and New Bond street on Saturday before I went home made me think "I must come back soon" A great city! There is an interesting Tapas Bar round the corner from the hoel and also the Hilton Rooftop Bar
